Welcome to the The City of Binghamton Fire Fighters' Union is Local #729 of the International Association of Fire Fighters, which represents over a quarter of a million professional fire fighters and paramedics in the United States and Canada. We also belong to the New York State Professional Fire Fighters Association, which represents 25,000 members in 103 Locals around the state. Local #729 represents approximately 131 members of the City of Binghamton's Fire Bureau. We are dedicated to making sure that our members are provided with all that they require to ensure that the citizens and visitors of Binghamton receive the highest level of professional fire suppression and emergency medical services when needed. Local #729 also makes the needs of its members paramount.
