Station 4

 

Station 4, located at 176 Robinson St., is home to Engine 21-4, EMS 21-4 and Ambulance 7123.  Both Engine and EMS 21-4 are responsible for providing fire and ems coverage to the cities 7th ward.  The ambulance is a reserve ambulance.  The 7th ward is located on the cities Eastside and its' borders are the Susquehanna River to its' south, the Brandywine highway to its' west, the Binghamton city/Town of Kirkwood  line to its' east and the Binghamton city/Town of Dickinson line to its' north.  The Eastside has a good mix of residencies, small businesses ,a few large manufacturing facilities.  Engine 4 does cover a little of the 4th ward in the downtown area, within that area is a some high rises and most notably NYSEG Stadium, home of the Binghamton Mets (AA affiliate of the New York Mets),  Engine 4 is manned by 3 personnel, an officer and 2 firefighters.
