Binghamton Fire Bureau

Line of Duty Deaths

Since becoming a Fire Bureau back in the 1800's, the Binghamton Fire Bureau has lost 22 men to deaths related to the job.  This is an impressive number due to the size of our department.  Every year Binghamton Firefighters travel to Albany, NY where once a year they honor all fallen firefighters from around New York State and etch names into the Fallen Firefighters Memorial Wall.  The link below will not only give you the names of Binghamton's Bravest that made the ultimate sacrafice to protect the citizens of Binghamton, NY, but also their story.  Memorial Custodian Dennis Sullivan has put in, and continues to put in countless hours tracking down information on all of our fallen brothers, both known and not known.  We hope that he doesn't find any more names, but if he does, it is our duty to not only honor these men, but make sure that they are never forgotten.  (We are currently working on all of the information regarding the circumstances surrounding each members death, so for now it is just the list.)

Our Fallen Brothers

We have designed and made shirts to honor our fallen brothers, they are black shirts and the logos are shown below.  These shirts will be available soon for purchase in both long and short sleeve.  These are good quality shirts and pay tribute to 22 men that have made the ultimate sacrifice.
